Wine

Wine, and especially the wine of Paso Robles and immediate environs, is central to the Black Cat's culinary expression. Wines on our list are unique and exemplary of the rich terroir and winemaker skill that we are so fortunate to have in this area.

You may not see many common names on our list; we like to give our guests the opportunity to try something new that they don’t see every where else. We tend to focus on artisanal producers.

Absolutely every wine on this list has been tasted and chosen by our chef/owner. Great care is taken to make sure that local wines, as well as the wines of most of the major wine producing regions of the world, are well represented. Our wines are served in crystal Riedel stemware.

We have received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence five years in a row.
